Background, professional training and performance history
Kenady Conforth was born in Cottage Grove Oregon & comes from a long line of dancers. She was instructed in the art of ballroom dance from her grandfather but has received the majority of her dance training from South Lane Ballet Academy where her mother is the director. She is well versed in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Modern, & Hip Hop dance. Kenady is currently teaching at various studios around Lane County while she continues honing her craft. Her choreography has been seen in various High School productions, on the LCC stage, the Hult Center Soreng stage, and the Shedd's very own Jacqua Concert Hall.

Kenady strives to be a part of the movement to provide exceptional dance training to all who have a desire to participate, regardless of economic challenges. Through dance education, Kenady believes in nurturing self-confidence, physical fitness, versatility, and a life-long appreciation of the arts.

KENADY CONFORTH is an avid performer and dance instructor with extensive training in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop and more. Early in her performance career she was seen in a variety of roles some of which include Beauty & the Beast (Chip), Annie (Annie), Mary Poppins (Jane Banks),The Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe (Lucy), Gypsy (Baby June) and Oliver! (Oliver). A few of her more recent roles include Singing In The Rain, Annie Get Your Gun, Roberta, (Babette), Good News (Lucy), Gypsy (Dainty June), Kurt Weill & Bertolt Brecht’s The Seven Deadly Sins (ensemble), Hello Dolly! (Minnie Fae), Guys And Dolls (Hotbox girl) and her favorite thus far, The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy) and Damn Yankees (Lola). Kenady is an alumna of The Shedd Institute’s E. Y. Harburg Academy.
